A special ceremony of presenting paintings to representatives of Jiangsu’s friendship cities was hosted in Nanjing Monday evening. These paintings were drawn and presented by a group of young kids who’re competitive contestants in Jiangsu International Youth Painting Contest.

Eager to be the messengers of friendship, children from sister cities abroad and 13 cites in Jiangsu were looking forward to giving away their paintings as gifts. These two children from sister cities of Jiangsu presented their paintings to Mr. Wu Zhenglong, and Mr. Guo Yuanqiang respectively. Also contestants from Jiangsu International Youth Painting Contest, these two children brought their love to Jiangsu.

29 delegation chiefs of Jiangsu’s friendship cities were also present at the ceremony to experience the friendship. 13 children from Jiangsu, each standing for one city across the province, presented their paintings to representatives of Jiangsu’s friendship cities, wishing the friendship and sisterhood between Jiangsu and sister cities could last long forever.

Jiangsu International Youth Painting Contest, playing an important part in the series of activities to honor the 40th anniversary of Jiangsu’s international friendship city relations, is co-organized by Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial Government and Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation. Highlighting the theme of “hometown” and “dreams of future”, this contest has been held two times and witnesses 40 sister cities and more than 100 thousand children in Jiangsu joined this art event.
