2018 Jiangsu·Jeollabuk-do Province News Photo Exhibition kicked off in Jiangsu Provincial Art Museum Tuesday morning. 77 Pieces of works from 50 journalists of 31 media units in both Jiangsu and Jeollabuk-do Province were exhibited.

Jointly hosted by Association of Journalists of Jiangsu Province and Association of Journalists of Jeollabuk-do Province, this photo exhibition welcomed the presence of Guo Yuanqiang, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province and Choi Jeongho, vice governor of Jeollabuk-do Province, and had the company of other distinguished representatives from both sides.

Original flavored performances, ebullient instrumental music playing, the demonstration of different cultures also brought people closer. Delivering a welcome speech, Mr. Guo Yuanqiang affirmed the cooperation and exchanges carried out between the two sides during the past years, and officially launched the exhibition.

Among all the photos exhibited, around 35 of them were from Jeollabuk-do Province and the others from Jiangsu province. Covering economy, society and culture, these photos opened a window for both sides to know more about each other’s culture and custom.

Starting from Tuesday, this photo exhibition lasts 10 days. It is an important part in the series of activities to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Jiangsu’s international friendship city relations.
